ABOUT

The White Plains Democratic City Committee is the organized Democratic Party here in White Plains.  We work to elect candidates and support officeholders who are dedicated to Democratic Party ideals:

  • Employment opportunities for all and the right to a safe, respectful workplace

  • The right to be represented by a union

  • A strong system of public education

  • Pushing back against efforts to whitewash American history

  • High-quality public services

  •  Reproductive freedom

  •  Affordable housing

  •  High-quality, accessible health care

  •  Restoring and preserving the rule of law

  • Immigration policies that preserve our nation's openness to new Americans from all over the world while maintaining control over our borders

  •  Combating unfair discrimination

  •  Keeping White Plains a strong, vibrant community with honest and efficient government, where every voice is heard

Our Committee consists of dedicated volunteers committed to progressive leadership, social justice, and responsible governance.  Join us at our monthly meetings or come see us at local events. Help us fight for our democracy and make White Plains a better place for all.
